We are very pleased to announce a new workshop that UME is piloting in Morocco! The Train the Trainer Workshop (TTW) is a special opportunity for UME alumni and their colleagues that will be held November 10-11, 2007, in Rabat. This workshop is a new initiative for UME because for the first time, it will include educators who have never had the opportunity to participate in a UME educational activity. This workshop will be a great opportunity for you to include a close colleague whom you always thought would benefit from UME’s programs but never had the opportunity. We all look forward to seeing you again as well as meeting one of your colleagues!
This intensive, two-day training will be led by Harvard University’s Yamila Hussein and aims to deepen participants’ competency in UME’s unique pedagogy. Through this workshop, UME hopes to support participants’ professional development by enhancing the skills and knowledge with which they provide professional teacher trainings to their colleagues. Please read the download and read the application for more information about the workshop and about how to apply. Applications are due by October 28, 2007 and will be accepted on a rolling basis.
