AMIDEAST has announced the new round of the Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program (IFP) for the academic year 2009/2010. The International Fellowships Program was launched by the Ford Foundation in the year 2000 to provide opportunities for advanced study to exceptional individuals who will use this education to become leaders in their respective fields, furthering development in their own countries and greater economic and social justice worldwide. The Fellowship will cover tuition, living allowance, travel, and health insurance. Once selected, Fellows may enroll in universities in any part of the world, including Egypt. The program offers 28 scholarships (master’s and doctor’s degrees) in any of the following fields:

Religion, Society & Culture
Media
Arts & Culture
Asset Building & Community Development
Workforce Development
Development Finance & Economic Security
